Just To Save You Time – If You’re Enquiring About Remaking A Game I’ve Worked On…
To the many folks that write to me asking for permission to create a remake of one of the games that I’ve worked on. I’m really flattered that you enjoyed my game and want to get in touch about creating a remake but please be reminded that for all of the games the ownership and copyrights belong to the developer/publisher I was working for at the time. So I am totally unable to help you in any way. You need to contact the developer/publisher/rights owner.
Specifically, regarding the rights to the Rick Dangerous series of games (to the best of my knowledge), these reside with Square/Enix so you need to get in touch with them.
Sorry about that, but I get a lot of mails about this.
