COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded onto ‘terminal equipment’ (e.g. a computer or smartphone) when the user accesses a website. It allows the website to recognise that user’s device and store some information about the user’s preferences or past actions.

This site may collect cookies. They are there and you have been warned!

How a customer can pay:

You can pay via this site’s Ecwid store using PayPal. Through PayPal we can accept Visa, Mastercard and a few other credit and debit cards. Please check www.paypal.co.uk for more details on what the PayPal application can accept.

Delivery arrangements, costs and how long goods will take to arrive:

Shipping costs are calculated in addition to the price you see associated with our item.  For your peace of mind we always ship via tracked, signed and insured postage and send you tracking information so you can follow your items safely to your door. Goods should be received 21 working days from the time of you receiving your confirmation email from us. GDPR:

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25th May 2018. More info can be found on the ICO website.

simonphipps.com consider themselves to be ‘Controllers’ of data. We use Ecwid to run our webstore, and they have confirmed that they are also GDPR compliant. We use PayPal to process financial transactions – they too are GDPR compliant.

Under GDPR you have more control over your data. You can send a request to view the information we hold on you by emailing info@simonphipps.com. Under GDPR we have a 1 month time-frame to respond to your request. We will aim to do this sooner if we aren’t too swamped with orders!

The type of info we collect on you is considered ‘personal data’. This includes your name, address and in some cases phone number. We have to collect this data for us to process the order and send you your items. Your credit/debit card details are processed through PayPal and we do not keep any record of this. We will keep a copy of the PayPal receipt which is between the two parties for 60 days. This contains your address and PayPal username plus the email associated to the account. We will also keep a record of your order and the associated information given through Ecwid for 60 days.

Information is held on secure servers and these services are provided by well trusted organisations: Ecwid (webstore), PayPal (transactions), Lcn.com (Email). We regularly review our passwords in line with industry best practices. Any breach of your personal data will be reported to the ICO within 72 hours.
